Everyone's experience of Homeopathy is unique, and past patients' comments should not be taken as implying that homeopathic medicine can treat or cure every named disease. No medicine, including orthodox medicine, can ever purport to do that. A friend of my daughters gave me the telephone number of  Carla Carmichael Homeopath in Stirling, Scotland and suggested that I contact her. I was suffering from shingles on the head and the pain was indescribable, even worse than toothache! Anyone reading this, that has had them, will know exactly what I mean. I also felt very sick and debilitated with them. I visited my GP here in Derby only to be told there was nothing that could be done other than to take pain killers. I am in my late seventies and had recently learned of another lady that had had them, she finished up in hospital because of the amount of pain killing drugs she had taken! I was feeling desperate to get relief from the pain, the drugs didn't appear to be doing anything, so I thought I would give homeopathy a go, and telephone Carla, after all, I had nothing to lose.

I telephoned Carla who was very kind and helpful. She asked me a number of questions about my health. She then sent me a little white pill through the post, which I took the morning it arrived. I was absolutely amazed, because that same afternoon, I started to feel a cold sensation inside my head. By the evening of that same day, the ongoing pain, had improved dramatically. By the end of the week the eruptions on my head had almost disappeared and the pain had almost gone. That was in January 2010 and I have felt fine ever since, with no twinges of pain whatsoever.  It is all thanks to Carla and her medicine; her little white pill did more for me than anything else. In all honesty, I do not think I could have continued  to cope daily with that kind of pain in my head. Further, I may have ended up in hospital like that other dear soul.

I contacted Carla Carmichael Homeopath because of the pain in my right arm, indeed, I could hardly use it because of the pain. I had been to visit my GP and she said that I had tennis elbow. I was offered anti-inflammatory drugs, pain killers and steroid injections if they didn't help. I also went for Physiotherapy treatment which involved ultrasound therapy, but I left there, feeling much worse than before. After treatment with ultrasound I felt pain in the bones of my arm, something that I had never had before. I wasn't keen to keep taking drugs because of the side effects causing me even further problems. I contacted Carla and had a consultation with her.
